Discovery Trustees
Our Trustees play a crucial role in the effective governance of the school, providing strong, strategic leadership and ensuring the school remains focused on delivering the best possible outcomes for all pupils. They are responsible for setting the Trust’s vision and strategic direction, making sure it meets its educational aims while complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Trustees also hold overall responsibility for financial accountability, overseeing the Trust's and the school’s budget and ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively to support teaching and learning. As trustees, they carry important legal duties, ensuring transparency and that the school operates in line with its statutory obligations.
Working closely with school leaders, Trustees both support and challenge the school—offering guidance and encouragement while also asking constructive questions to drive continuous improvement. Through this balanced approach, they ensure robust accountability and help maintain high standards across all areas of school life.
