Enrichment Opportunities

 

Every year, children in Year 3 have the opportunity to go sailing with Horizons Plymouth, a children's sailing charity.  The children experience sailing on Hawk 20 Keelboats with experienced sailing staff.  They develop their STEM Skills to collaborate, putting up the sails and tidying the ropes.  They learn how to steer the sailing boat, but most importantly have fun.  The children sail around Plymouth Sound and Drake's Island as well as along the Tamar River towards the dockyard and Torpoint.
