My name is Kathryn Catherwood and I am proud to be the Head of School at Weston Mill Community Primary Academy. Weston Mill is a thriving school, which offers inclusive provision for children from 2 – 11 years old. Here, we strive to grow all pupils as learners through our six core values: inspired, individual, capable, ambitious, enthusiastic, and self-motivated.
Community lies at the heart of everything we do. We foster a family ethos, encouraging pupils to support each other in all aspects of life. We prioritise creating a caring environment, offering both academic and social and emotional support. Our dedicated pastoral team provides small group support to ensure the continued success of every pupil in our school.
Weston Mill provides a democratic learning environment, with a curriculum that celebrates individuality, tolerance, respect and acceptance of each other. Every member of our school community embraces and upholds these, working together to prepare our children for the next stage of their learning journey and become citizens within our community.
